Trump and Pump or Harris and Perish?

The time has finally come!! US ELECTION WEEK! We also have the US Federal Rate decision this week, after the Bank of Canada just cut rates another 50 basis points. The 23rd of October had mass volatility post Canada’s rate decision, although it was what was expected. As for the US, the forecast is a 25 basis point cut, which can come in as a surprise if Fed cuts 50 basis points to catch up after delaying cuts earlier this year as opposed to Canada. Another scenario would be the US stalling and not cutting at all, to try and save the 10 and 30 year. US markets closed at a very bearish price on Friday which can imply some volatility for the week ahead and into mid quarter.
